[15 Dec 2009|04:51pm] drivingaway [ mood | relaxed ] it's been about 5 days since i've been done with school and for me that's meant 5 days of movies, sitting in bed on the computer, starbucks runs and sleeping. i wish i was simplifying it but no, that's really all i've been doing (oh- other than sunday which we celebrated lainie pascall (chaney)'s bday by ice skating in oxnard). dustin and i have had intentions of going on little adventures here before we go home for 2 weeks but i've (mostly) been the one to ruin those plans by sleeping in until at least 1pm everyday. we wanted to go on a couple hikes and drive up to morro bay to explore, i even wanted to go downtown to use my victorias secret gift cards but i haven't even felt like getting out of bed to go shopping! and today i've realized: wow, i have it made. i don't have to work, i can mostly do whatever i want, when i want, AND we're going to disneyland on friday!!!! ...for free!!! this will be the second time this year and before 2009 it'd probably been 5 years since i'd been. this school thing is pretty awesome at times - like the 3 week breaks. once we go home on thursday my life will be a little busier: disneyland on friday, parents xmas party on friday night (if we make it back in time), erin's party on saturday night, chargers game on sunday, charissa's party next wednesday, then xmas eve and xmas packed with seeing family, chargers game on xmas day, SKYDIVING the day after xmas, then a couple more days in SD and we go home! plus i have a cousin visiting SD from the 18th to 23rd (i think), aunt visiting from 20th to 28th, and my grandma datte will be here so there will be more family hangouts and outings than usual. the rest of this evening dustin and i will be cleaning the house so when we get back it'll be nice and there will actually be clean dishes to eat off (because now there's not and we have to clean any time we eat). 2 comments|post comment
